Hello and welcome to the Simply Inspired CTMH Blog Hop! This month we are featuring the brand new Cloud 9 Cardmaking Kit – available exclusively during January 2014 for National Papercrafting Month! The blog hop is a great big circle, but if you happen to get lost along the way, please click here for a complete list of participating consultants.
If you are familiar with my crafting, you know that I am first and foremost a scrapbooker. So – what do I do with a cardmaking kit?? I create a 12×12 layout, of course!! 🙂 When I opened up our Christmas card and saw these photos – I COULD NOT resist. How perfect are they?? I am IN LOVE with these kids and this kit.
This kit features images cut from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge. I jazzed up some of cuts by outlining them with a black journaling pen (inspiration from Jeanette Lynton’s Blog). For the heart outline images, I simply trimmed along the negative of the die cut sheet to create another heart – can’t let all that goodness go to waste! The title “Blessed” was cut using the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.
I used the January 2014 Stamp of the Month, Cross-Stitch Wishes to give this layout some added flair and dimension.
I also created 10 cards to go with the layout – stay tuned for pictures and workshop info!
