I was so excited to create a Bridal Shower card this weekend for my daughter’s gymnastics coach. I really wanted to try something different and use my Cricut Explore – which is still quite intimidating to me! So – I hopped on PInterest, did a little searching, and found a card I totally loved. I can’t tell who the original designer of the card was, so please forgive me for not giving credit where credit is due. Here is my version:
I used black, white, and whisper cardstock for the card. To create the damask black background, I simply dry embossed the black cardstock with our Damask Embossing Folder and then gently sanded the paper to reveal the white core and really make the pattern pop!
The gorgeous gown (and dress form) were cut using the Image Gallery with my Cricut Explore and I added bling, bling, and more bling to the rosette ribbon on the skirt to take it over the top! I had to do a little hand trimming to get the dress and form to match up, but it was super easy. Wanna make your own? Check out my CDS files below:

And – as any good card maker knows, you can’t forget the envelope! It’s like wrapping paper for a gift! I used silver glitter paper for the ring base to make the diamond sparkle.
The CTMH rosette ribbon is actually a retired product, but it is available while supplies last through the month of June. It is included in 2 of the Celebrate 30! Bundles: Delightful Ribbon and Trim Collection (save $24!) or the Extraordinary Embellishments Collection (save $20.55!). Only $30 with a $50 purchase! Get yours before they are gone!
