Wow!  Can you believe it is already July???  I am finally adjusting back to real life after Convention in Disneyland.  I had such a crazy, awesome, fabulous time – but sleep was definitely *not* on the agenda!  🙂

So while I am anxiously awaiting my new product for my August Workshops (Seaside and Wanderland will be coming up first!), I will be sharing some product sneak peeks and photos from my time at Convention.  First up – my Convention Contest Layout!

Every year, CTMH has some kind of creative contest for us consultants.  This year, we had to create a layout featuring photos about our life with CTMH – team meetings, incentive trips, conventions, etc.  They awarded $100 in NEW PRODUCT to the Top 10 layouts, and my layout was one of the winners!!!!  YAY ME!!!!

The ladies in the photos with me are some of my bestest friends EVER!!!  I love these women with all my heart and I truly cherish and look forward to spending time with them every year.

For this layout. I used the Cricut Explore with my canvas set at 12×24.  The fonts are from all three CTMH Cricut Cartridges (Art Philosophy, Artiste, Artbooking) and I stretched, rotated, and italicized the words and positioned them around my photo mats.  The best part was that I was able to use the negative portion of the black cardstock for my layout – so all the individual letters went in the recycling!  Can you even imagine all that gluing??  I also used one of my favoritest stamp sets to create the chain link look – Distressed Backgrounds D1544.

To add interest and color, I cut rectangles from the Timberline Woodgrain Pattern Paper and Cranberry Cardstock to slide underneath some of the words.  And, of course, I finished the layout off with some bling, bling sparkles!  Here is a cheesy picture of me with my loot!
