Hi there and welcome to the August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you have come here from Shirley’s blog, you are on the right path. If you happen to get lost along the way, the complete list of hopper’s can be found here.
This What A Hoot stamp set is obviously perfect for Fall and Halloween, but I’m really not quite there yet. 🙂 So, I decided to create a summery thank you card instead using the owl wing to make a fun flower.
I used our new sequins & ribbon, our new Shin Han markers, the new Handwritten Print Alphabet stamps, and our fabulous new purple – Thistle!
Thanks so much for stopping by – the next stop on our Hop is Lucy’s blog.
Make Something SCRAPTABULOUS – because CUTE matters!
Hugs,
Dana
What a cute idea. Thanks for much for sharing.
Beautiful card! Thanks for inspiring us to be non-traditional with the stamp set!!
Fabulous!!!!
So stinkin’ creative Dana!! Love it!!
Very pretty! May I scraplift?
Love the colors and that it’s not Halloween. So creative! One of my faves of the hop.
Love how you think outside the box, TFS!
I love the flower too!
Now I’m going to need to make some flower cards! 🙂
super cute idea & love that font with it!
Fun! Love the hand drawn border…goes great with the flower petals.
OH, what she said! The hand drawing complements this perfectly! I adore your coloring and overlap on the flower! 🙂
This is very cute! I love how you created an illusion of transparency with the way you colored the petals.
Another super adorable card using the “wing” stamps as flower petals. I love the layered look, Dana, this is SO CUTE
Your card is so splendid! I wouldn’t have thought to use the wing pattern as petals. I’m gonna keep this in mind for non-Halloween girls.
I love how you used the stamp for something other than Halloween.
Thanks, everyone! 🙂 I was honestly kind of feeling bad for not using the cute owls, but I am refusing to hit fall mode just quite yet. I am trying to enjoy every minute of summer freedom before fall madness begins.
Very pretty!
Cute flower! Great creative use of the stamp set.
I totally missed the boat on looking at this stamp set in other ways! Love your flower design!
