Welcome to the January 2016 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you have come here from the fabulous blog of Melinda Everitt, you are on the right path! If you happen to get lost along the way, the complete list of hoppers can be found here.
There are so many things I LOVE about this stamp set – for starters, the font is soooo on trend, the background and detail stamps are FUN to stamp, and the gorgeous flowers will work for so many projects!
Cardstock: Black, White Daisy, Whisper, Thistle
Inks: Archival Black, Thistle
Embellishments: Thistle Thick Twine, Clear Sparkles, Purple Hearts Glitter & Enamel Duos
I used the second generation of thistle ink to stamp the background floral stamp and then first generation thistle for the coordinating detail stamp. Just for fun, I did the floral stamping twice so that I could cut and highlight parts of the image in a geometric pattern. I L.O.V.E. the brush/stick stamp and used it to random stamp the white daisy cardstock to create my own pattern paper. Isn’t it gorgeous? The twine, gems, and sparkles add the finishing touch to this graphic card. I can’t wait for this card to go postal and become someone’s happy mail!
Thanks so much for hopping with us!! Your next stop will be Jennifer Dykstra’s Blog – have fun!
