Welcome to the August 2016 Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you have come here from the fabulous blog of Tracey Pierce, you are on the right path! If you happen to get lost along the way, the complete list of hoppers can be found here.
Here’s the deal – and try not to hate me. I am *not* a fan of cats. Any cats. I just can’t. I know that lots of you LOVE them and that is PAW-SOME! (get it? ha!) Me – I am highly allergic and my throat closes up and my nose runs and I can’t breathe and I start panicking and my eyes water and it is a HOT MESS. Trust me – I can’t do cats. Even stamped ones!
So, I chose to create my own geometric patterns using the eye and banner stamps. It was super fun – and I didn’t even need my inhaler!
Cardstock: New England Ivy, Sapphire, Flaxen, Whisper, Pomegranate
Inks: Pomegranate, Desert Sand, Fern, Flaxen
Embellishments: Enchantment Ribbon Pack, Rustic Home Ribbon Pack, Clear Sparkles
I used our new Hello & Thanks Thin Cuts for the sentiment Thanks. I LOVE how they are perfectly sized for cards!
Thanks so much for hopping with us!! Your next stop will be with Kathy Burrows – have fun!
Make Something SCRAPTABULOUS – because CUTE matters!
Hugs,
Dana
Great card! Love how you used the stamps for the background of this card.
I like that you used the eyes to make different designs…you’re one cool cat…I mean stamper!
Super creative for all us non-cat fans 🙂

You amaze me dear Dana!!! 🙂 LOVE, LOVE your artistic ability & love how you showed this stamp “out of the box”. My customers & I thank you! 🙂 Hugs!
Wow! You really created something fabulous by thinking “outside the kitty litter box!” I love what you did. Thanks for sharing something so unique and inspiring me today.
🙂 Marie
That is amazingly creative!
The ayes/eyes have it! You’ve added SO much potential to the stamp set. All I saw was halloween and cats, but now… Thanks for stretching my mind.
Amazing work and hilarious description! Glad you are still breathing along with the rest of us!
Love love love how you have used this set 🙂
Great card!
WOW! Love the way you used the elements of the stamps to create patterns.
What a fun way to create a background.
Fantastic card!!!! I love how you used the other stamps, especially the eyes, to create the background. If you added leaves to the top row, you’ve have some geometric poinsettias.
Love how you did your card!
Would love to know about any of your events such as scrapbooking/ stamping in the Saginaw/ Freeland area.
I share this information with other scrapbooking friends.
I also saw someone else post about you and your business but not a link to your site.
Do you ever get to Gratiot County?
ReBecca Wilson
Hi Rebecca! I am working on trying to secure a hotel for my Scraptabulous Crops. The one I normally use is under construction and unavailable. 🙁 I should know by the end of the week. I have not done any events in Gratiot County in quite a while – email me if you have something in mind. Hugs to you!
