Chelsea Gardens – Come on, SPRING!!!

Happy 2018, all of my beautiful friends!!!!  I hope you all had a SCRAPTABULOUS holiday season and took lots of pictures!  Here is my tribe this year in our matching jammies.  

And, just like that – it’s life back to normal in the FRIGID north!  So, let me tell you how hard it was for me to work with Chelsea Gardens during our deep freeze…..  Don’t get me wrong, the papers are simply STUNNING, but they make you feel spring and warmth and I was pretty much in crabby patty mode wishing that I could skip right from Christmas to Spring! 

But, now that I finished this workshop, I have fallen in love with this kit.  I even have some perfect photos to use with it!!!  My goal for 2018 is to show ya’ll more of my finished work, which means that I actually have to print photos and get scrappy.  I am WAY excited to see if I am up for the challenge!  I totally went all in with the butterflies and colors in this kit, I didn’t even try to fight it and make it into something else.  Sometimes, you just gotta go with the flow.  For the last layout, I kept it all nuetrals and even included a large photo mat for an 8×10 family photo!  Lots and lots of options for this layout.  Continue reading →

Fall into Fall with the Swan Lake Workshop Your Way!

Hey everybody!  It’s FALL!!!  I just love these cooler temps and seeing the trees begin to change color.  It’s official – Fall just plain makes me happy.  And that’s all I have to say about that.

I have the completed the second paper kit from our newly released Seasonal Expressions Catalog – SWAN LAKE.  I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I first saw this kit.  SWANS????  Hmmmm….  But – as I have learned over many years of designing, never judge a paper pack until you have created with it!   I chose to create one layout for Thanksgiving (I swear I am going to take pictures this year!) and then the other 3 layouts can be used with a variety of photos.  Don’t let the small number of photo mats hold you back – just add your favorite flip flaps and all the photos you need will fit perfectly on each page!

I also used two of our new products with this workshop – the Pocket Plus Memory Protectors and the Coordinating Cardstock Pack.

The Pocket Plus Memory Protectors come in 4 different designs that allow you to showcase additional 3×4 and 4×6 photos in a super fun way!  Unlike a typical 12×12 page protector, these vary in size from 4×12 to 6×12.  They have the 3 holes for your album posts/rings and a full gutter to work perfectly in between your standard CTMH memory protectors.  These are one of my favorite new items!!!  Totally a MUST HAVE!

Coordinating Cardstock Packs are now available for all of our new Paper Packs!  Each pack comes with 12 sheets (3 each of 4 colors) of coordinating cardstock to really enhance your paper crafting.  Say goodbye to white cardstock and HELLO to an affordable way to get the perfect colors of cardstock to match your projects.  YAY!!!!
