Feels like Summer with the Dreamin’ Big Scrapbook Page Kit!

Oh my goodness!!!  It feels like April in Michigan!!  We have SUNSHINE and warm temperatures and I just *need* to be outside!  Now, I am pretty sure we will have a snow storm next week, but I am going to enjoy the gorgeous weather while it lasts.  Did I mention that we have SUNSHINE?!?!  I soooo needed me some Vitamin D.

Hello Lovely Scrapbook Workshop – Why, Hello!!!!

Hello, my LOVELIES!!!!  I have to apologize for the tardiness of this workshop – I had the flu last week and it destroyed my timeline.  Next year, my family is going to FIRST IN LINE for the flu shot.  Losing a week to sickness is crazy town.

Hello Lovely is a gorgeous kit!  The colors are soft and feminine and I love how they blend with the gold and blush tones in the accents.   The thing I love most about these pages is that I feel like they will work with many different kind of photos – family, wedding, love, selfies, pets, relationships.  Say HELLO to Hello Lovely, this paper collection is a MUST HAVE!!!

WHEW!!  I have had a crazy hard time getting things in gear around here.  However, I have FINALLY completed my work on the first of our NEW kits – Sugar Rush!  

Sugar Rush is super fun kit.  Now, I am not going to lie – Sugar Rush was my LEAST favorite kit in the new catalog.  It appeared a little too sweet and young for my taste and photos.  BUT, as so often happens, once I started to work with it – I LOVED IT!!  I tried to make these layouts more gender nuetral and created themes like Baking (no baking pictures?  GET ON IT!), Celebration (any kind), Sweets (ice cream, candy, SUGAR), and then Love You (Valentine’s, family, pet, friends).

Oh Deer! – It’s getting COLD outside!

So – it’s one week before Halloween and what do I have for you?   WINTER PAGES!  I know – kinda crazy, isn’t it?

Here is one thing I know for sure – TIME FLIES!  Before we know it, we are going to be well into the busy holiday season.  And how WAY COOL will it be (did you catch that pun?  Ha!) to have your Winter Scrapbook Pages already completed?  These Oh Deer! pages are sure to give you an extra incentive to get out and have some fun in the cold!  And, even if you don’t get snow where you live, these layouts can still be used for your winter adventures.

Fall into Fall with the Swan Lake Workshop Your Way!

Hey everybody!  It’s FALL!!!  I just love these cooler temps and seeing the trees begin to change color.  It’s official – Fall just plain makes me happy.  And that’s all I have to say about that.

I have the completed the second paper kit from our newly released Seasonal Expressions Catalog – SWAN LAKE.  I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I first saw this kit.  SWANS????  Hmmmm….  But – as I have learned over many years of designing, never judge a paper pack until you have created with it!   I chose to create one layout for Thanksgiving (I swear I am going to take pictures this year!) and then the other 3 layouts can be used with a variety of photos.  Don’t let the small number of photo mats hold you back – just add your favorite flip flaps and all the photos you need will fit perfectly on each page!

I also used two of our new products with this workshop – the Pocket Plus Memory Protectors and the Coordinating Cardstock Pack.

The Pocket Plus Memory Protectors come in 4 different designs that allow you to showcase additional 3×4 and 4×6 photos in a super fun way!  Unlike a typical 12×12 page protector, these vary in size from 4×12 to 6×12.  They have the 3 holes for your album posts/rings and a full gutter to work perfectly in between your standard CTMH memory protectors.  These are one of my favorite new items!!!  Totally a MUST HAVE!

Jeepers Creepers! Is it Halloween yet??

Happy September!  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this time of year???  My kids start back to school next week and I am looking forward to getting back into a routine – as much as I love the freedom of summer, all good things must come to an end.

Today, I am sharing one of our BRAND NEW paper kits from our newly released Seasonal Expressions Catalog – JEEPERS CREEPERS.  This fun and whimsical kit is perfect for Halloween, but I designed 3 out of the 4 layouts (YES!!!  I created 4 LAYOUTS this month!) so that they can be used in a non-Halloween way.  I don’t know about you, but now that my kids are older, I just don’t have enough Halloween photos to fill up 3 layouts.  But, don’t worry – if you know you’ll have a TON of Halloween pictures, they will all find a home with this kit!

All Together with Rustic Home Scrapbook Layouts!

WOW!!!  Can you believe the summer is almost over???  I am kind of freaking out about it – but I am ready for a change.  I LOVE Fall and football season (well, let’s get real – I only watch my son play football).  But what excites me the most is that Fall means SCRAPBOOKING SEASON!!!!  And do I have a SCRAPTABULOUS kit for you to kick things off!!

I used our BRAND NEW Rustic Home Fundamentals and All Together Complements – I *swoon* for the wood grain, kraft paper, vellum, and pops of sea glass.  These papers are warm, woodsy, rustic and totes on trend!  So many different ways you can interpret the theme with your photos.  As a bonus, you will create (6) two page layouts with this kit. Trust me, you will need all 6 of them!

Please note:  The vellum has copper foil accents that are stinking hard for this amateur to photograph – it is totally gorgeous in person.  More like a shiny Kraft color than yellow.

Here’s the deal – and try not to hate me.  I am *not* a fan of cats.  Any cats.  I just can’t.  I know that lots of you LOVE them and that is PAW-SOME! (get it? ha!)  Me – I am highly allergic and my throat closes up and my nose runs and I can’t breathe and I start panicking and my eyes water and it is a HOT MESS.  Trust me – I can’t do cats.  Even stamped ones!

So, I chose to create my own geometric patterns using the eye and banner stamps.  It was super fun – and I didn’t even need my inhaler!
